What We Believe

We Believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We Believe that all people have sinned and need forgiveness.

We Believe our Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to atone for the sins of man, was raised from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is coming again in power and glory.

We Believe that salvation cannot be gained by human effort, but only through God's grace, freely given, and which we receive through faith in Jesus Christ.

We Believe that repentant believers in Christ should be baptized in water, by immersion (the Biblical form of baptism), in obedience to Christ.

We Believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We Believe that, because all believers are spiritually united in the Lord Jesus Christ, we should cooperate in all possible ways in God's work with our fellow believers, both those among us and elsewhere, loving and being patient with one another in our differences.

"In doctrine, Unity; in opinion, Liberty, and in all things, Love."

"Where the Bible speaks, we speak. Where the Bible is silent, we are silent."

"Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:38)
